Beaches

Carvoeiro and Monte Verde Villa are surrounded by some of the most beautiful golden sandy beaches in the whole of the Algarve and there are plenty to choose from.

Praia do Carvoeiro

A beautiful spot situated in the heart of Carvoeiro next to a cliff on which traditional Portuguese houses harmoniously stand, Carvoeiro Beach is an attractive and picturesque landmark of the Algarve and the sandy beach is highly popular with bathers who take up positions next to fishing vessels that are available for excursions out along the coast exploring the wonderful nearby grottoes, caves, and caverns. The beach is easily accessible and at street level.

Right by the beach, there is a broad range of restaurants, bars, and terraces providing the link between the sands and the lively town of Carvoeiro.
 
 
 

Praia do Carvalho

Located within a 10 minute drive from the villa on the outskirts of Carvoeiro town and within the rocks is a glorious, picturesque beach which is a favourite with all the family. The relatively small beach is famous for its stunning scenery and crystal clear water. Teenage kids love to go here because it is the best place to go cliff jumping (following local safety conditions). 

The sand at Carvalho is fine and golden and the water clear and inviting. A beautiful beach with romantic and breathtaking scenery, however, does require some steps down through a cave.
